game 7, it's a do or die situation, if i do leave the sound on and hear emrick, i'll die.
he's gonna be freaking out tonight, should be good. and of course i want another game 7 with the flyers -bruins.
i want every series to go 7. i'm getting sad, we're coming to the end very soon. i get the same way right around halftime of the superbowl.
minor depression sets in.
Pens win 4-3 tonight. They score two 5 on 3 powerplay goals in the last two munites of the third to force OT. They play 4 minutes and 27 seconds of the OT period with 6 skaters and a netminder before the linesman tells them they better get a guy off the ice or they could be short handed. Sidney Crosby assists on the game winner because he looked at the puck as it when by hm. Mario gets the other assistes because, well he was in the building....lol
What are everyone's thoughts on the no-suspension on either the hit on Giroux or the double-team on Richards? Briere got suspended for a very similar crosscheck earlier in the season.
Spiv, its the playoffs, ther eis no such thing as a standard or consistency from what is a penalty one minute is not a penalty the very next minute.
Tommy, there's going to be a lot of whistles sending Canadiens to the penalty box. Once zebras notice its lopsided they'll have a few phantom calls go the Candiens way

I know that suspensions during the playooffs are pretty rare. The crosscheck/attack on Richards drew blood and was in the last couple minutes of play "sending a message" and all Savard got was 2 minutes. I just wish for some consistency in the refs' calls.
I'm sick and tired of hearing how he's the hottest thing to the position since sliced bread. Canucks had an above average team yet got below average goaltending in series against the Blackhawks. The guy will never win anything.....
There are about 5 NHL goalies that I'd choose over Luongo without hesitation and a few that I might choose in a toss-up.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

That's too close to real life to be funny!

Not sure why you think that...this series has been one of no-calls if anything???
call it a hunch. The Pens have the puck more so Montreal will be called more. The calls have been 23-17 in favor of the Pens in the series and thats pretty equal. What is frustrating and sometimes overlooked is the timing of the calls and lack of consistency, one minute a players gets away with it and thenext play they don't.
40 minutes to go
current odds are the following
Montreal +200 (if you bet 100 on montreal you win 200)
Pittsburgh -240 (you have to bet 240 bucks to win 100 if you take the pens)

Appalling. Giroux and Richards both should have been suspended for faking injuries. They're Flyers for fuck sake...they had to do something bad.
Congratulations to the Habs for getting it done. Congratulations to the Pens for fucking forgetting how to play like the defending Stanley Cup champions. Piss poor play and coaching by the Pens.
Canadians want it more, and the Pens played like a bunch of candy asses. Stick a fork in this season, the Pens are done.
