Wow nice game. I was out at a bar watching the game with a friend visiting from out of town so I missed why the 5 on 3 happened. Very impressed with the Flyers effort. They controlled the game and got the win they deserved. Now they just need another one on Sunday and I'll start looking forward to the parade.

the 5 on 3 was a joke make up on coburn. he tugged at kanes jersey and the flyers were already shorthanded. joke of a call. You dont call shit 5 on 4 unless its blatent. This game shouldve been 4-1 flyers, end of story. But bettman got what he wanted....... Early lead by the "underdog" and bullshit calls to make it close at the end. nhl=nba. Flyers played well. And i would be rooting for them if they were playing anyone else, but... The "refs" are a joke.

I predict.... lots of homer calls in chicago on sunday, lots of homer calls in philly on weds, and 1 actual game that decides it. If thats the case, the "new nhl" has lost me as a fan.

5 on 3's suck. I like the days when you have to kill somone to take a penalty when you were shorthanded in the playoffs. Now you just look at someone cross-eyed ans your in the box and the opposing team on a 5 on 3 for a tap in...thats not hockey.

Best of 3 right now with 2 of the 3 in Chicago. Tomorrows game is going to be one helluva game. Philadelphia needs to keep the push going and don't let that Chicago crowd into the game. Keep working hard an dI'd keep the same lineup as last night.

Pronger is what he is ans always will be like that. You onlt don't hate the guy unless he's wearing the same color sweater as you. My son walked by the other day when Pronger an Kane collided in the cornor and said "owned" when Kane went down I said well Pronger is 6'6 220 and Kan is 5'10 180 so no ownage ther I also said he's a douche bag but a good douche bag. Pronger really is a greta player...I had my iso vision on him the last couple games, great player, a pain inflicter who is difficulot to play against, mean and nasty, a dick to everyone in a different jersey, lags a ton of important minutes. I the finals he's been on the ice 14 of 15 goals scored by his team...pretty impressive even if you hate him (and I do, have ever since his St Louis days where Detroit had to play them a million times).

I don't care if a player like that is on my team...I still dislike them. Now if they came up through the system and are on my team then I may have a little loyalty stuck to the player but for the most part I don't like that style. If obstruction is a rule then call it. If cross-checking is a rule then call it. ETC.

Another thing I don't like Pronger for is signing a big, long-term deal with Edmonton then forcing a trade. That's skanky and shows no heart. If he 'was not sure about Edmonton' then he should have signed for one year. If he can't stop nailing female reporters then keep that in mind too.
