Now we'll just have to see if Salo plays the next game......
I'm curious to see what the team will play like once they get the entire roster active...ie. when Schneider makes his debut, Daniel returns and when/if Demitra plays this season.
I'm not into hell.........I just dig the soundtrack.........

No let up for the Rangers after yesterdays game. they scored 7 goals tonight, i kept wiping my eyes to see if I was watching a Caps or Flyers game but it was the Rangers.
Granted it was against the Leafs, but I'm pleasantly surprised.
They were 5-0 last year, 5-1 now, still can't get too up about it, the Jets have brought me back to reality as it is.

how about the hawks, down 5-0, score 6 in a row and win 6-5 in OT.
        sick comeback.

fawk...fukked again by DirecTV and their dispute with Comcast over VERSUS. Tonights Wings game is only on VERSUS. I told DirecTV after the fist game I missed if that I miss another Red Wing game I'm switching to DISH....guess I gotta make the change...

I made that threat as well and all they offered me was the Center Ice package at half price. They offered my Dad $325 to stay on board but he changed to Dish anyway...I was there for the call. When I asked them why I didn't get offered $325 they said whoever told me that was lying

If I didn't already have NFL Sunday Ticket, I'd be gone. Now I have to wait until football is over before I switch.

Obviously the solution here is to get Comcast :P

Bill, they gave me a special number to call and some id to give them before I cancel. They can send hotties over to blow me and gvie me directv for free but that still doesnt solve the problem of not getting 100% of the Red Wings games For what I pay them a month , I should get 82 regular season Wings games, not 73 which it will be without VERSUS. Playoffs are a whle another deal, VS has an assload of playoff games each year and I can't miss those.

You could probably get the regional sports packages and get most of the Sunday Ticket games with DISH. Does your Dad like DISH Network so far?

Spin - my only choice is DISH Network, no Ccomcast cable, no Fios in my area. I was ready to go with Charter Cable but they dont have regional sports packages or Center Ice.

                  Oh, I was just joking

From what everyone I know who has Dish says, the service is the same as DirecTV and you get more channels for the same price.

So what's the deal, is DirecTV refusing to carry Versus?

edit: checked out Dish's site. To get Versus you need their top tier HD package. Comes out to $73/month once the promo runs out (for 2 TVs).

How about them Penguins???!!! Here's hoping they keep it up. I'm particularly impressed with the "shiner" line. The third and fourth lines are playing havoc right now. I'm not sold on the D right now, but we'll know in two or three months if they Pens are for real this season.

Man is Ovechkin playing like a man possessed? He's making his bid early this year for MVP, and I don't see how he doesn't get it either. He's a phenominal player.

The regional sports packages still black out most of those games...I tried that when I was in Denver and ended up having to buy the Center Ice Package to get all of the Pens games.

My Dad's biggest issue with Dish is relearning all of the channels...other than that he likes them so far.

Be glad you guys aren't Canucks fans. Around 12 games a year are only available as PPV. $15 each to watch in hi-def.

LA has some great young talent on their squad but the organization isn't exactly well regarded as to how they treat their players. Kopitar is on fire out of the gates this year though.

and Detroit plays LA tonight too. Pavel Datsyuk is out with an upper body injury so no Mule, no Dats along the Wings coming off one of the worst performances getting blown out by the Sabres who handed them theire asses the other night...doesnt look good for the Dead Things ...

How about this stat- Since Dan B. took over the Penguins, they have not lost a game when they have scored the first goal. Fairly amazing feat.
