It's a 2-3 degree sprain so 6-8 weeks. Laraque was the culprit and he's probably going to get a couple of games for it. It was 'accidental' he is saying and he surprisingly doesn't have any history for that kind of thing (3 suspensions in 13 years is not a repeat offender) but the league is going to give him a couple just to stay consistent.

Kronner had him beat the only way George could have stopped him was by sticking his leg out....thats a reaction but not accidental. He should get a couple games plus a couple more for being a repeat offender.

he can cry all he wants but all I know is teh Wings are out a #2 d-man and leading the D crew in points is out 6-8 weeks because some asshat doesnt have the skill or speed to actually *play* hockey at the NHL level....

Sid solves Vakoun in OT...he singlehandedly kept Florida in the game until then...great goalie IMO.

Larocque gets 5 games for the Kronwall cheap shot...sounds about right based on precendent but I really think they need to increase the suspension times. How bad off is Montreal compared to Detroit in this situation? It's not even comparable IMO. Larocque should be able to come back whenever Kronwall is ready.

one stat I'd like to see is clutch goals.
More than half of gaborik's 18 have come in the third period. I know I'm a homer.
