Unfortunately they're still too inconsistent, they'll play fine one period and play like they never made it out of the dressing room the next.

Agreed they still know how to win even though it is on older legs, they aren't returning to the cup but at the same time they are still a playoff team and a very veteran one that knows how to win.

I don't know, as a player if a Ref came up to me in the pre-game skate and tells me he's "going to get even" for making me look bad in a game several weeks ago I would have stopped it right then and there and told anyone and everyone what had transpired and refused to play until the asshat was removed from the building.

Burrows gets a $2500 fine for speaking out against NHL officiating. Burrows can be a whiner and diver nonetheless, you cant have Refs acting like this.

oh...btw...this is the same ref that waived off the Red Wings Brad May's goal against Dallas after the puck was sitting in the net for 3 seconds becaus he "intended" to blow the play dead...which would hav been when May was in the process of shooting the puck.
