Come on guys...about 3 or 4 whacks before Z even turned around is 'regular day' kind of stuff? That's just ridiculous talk. I'd have given him a game. He earned it.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

yep, he cross checked and punched Z many times in the back, Z eventually turned around while Sid tried to wrestle with him, Z lost his helmet during that and started to skate away but Sid still came after him and started attacking with a stick again.

you know where i stand on this, crosby could have done nothing and i cannot stand the guy. the fact that he is such a good player makes my blood boil over.
god damn penguins.
hockey is turning into badminton overnight i tell you
I agree that Bettman has tried his best to "pussify" the sport, but if you make the rules then you have to enforce them. If Cindy was "sending a message in the final minute of play" then by the rules he gets a $10k fine and a game suspension.
again, to me its hockey but I guess I'm old school. Tomas Holmstrom takes those kind shots just about every shift he takes. What I would have loved to see is Zetterberg drop em and beat the snot out of Sid but I know that will never happen, Sidney Crosby knew that would never happen and that is why he picked Hank to cheapshot. Do you think he would have tried that to Todd Bertuzzi (who was on the ice at the time)? No but he would have did the same to Vallteri Filppula as he's another Euro who stops when the play stops and doesnt partake in post whistle scrums.
I've played, and I like to play rough. I would have loved to see Z drop the gloves, but if he did it would have been a suspension for sure. They need to drop the damn instigator rule and let players police themselves.
oh and the funniest thing about all of this was Zetterberg saying "I knew who it was before turning around to see" LOL
I do agree with a bit of a double standard for this kind of stuff. If that was (insert cheapshot artist/thug/goon here) cross checking Crosby, Malkin or Ovechkin that player would take some disciplinary action handed his way but the league

only if the refs assess a fighting major and an instigator. Otherwise, nothing. And its actually in the last five minutes.
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL
