The best Viking team ever was the '98 team. I don't know how the hell they lost to the falcons in the NFC championship game. I mean, I know how, they missed a field goal that would have put them up by 10 and iced the game , but they were so much better than the rest of the NFC that year. 15-1, and they lost at home to the falcons. that ruined the superbowl against the broncos that year. that was one of the easiest superbowl bets to win that year. still scratching my head about that one.
I was rooting for the falcons, i have a soft spot for them, but you knew the Broncos were gonna take them down in the end. Broncos-Vikings would have been a doozy.
anyway, blah blah blah blah blah, i'm still miffed after the jets tonight, they suck the sweat off a yaks balls.

98 was the Vikes year for sure. I don't think they took the Atlanta game seriously enough, like they were looking at the super bowl game before actually beating the Falcons. Any given Sunday in football, I guess. I sure hope Favre stays healthy this year. That is our achilles heel.

5 - 0 is great, a few lucky wins in there too.

problem is the same this year for a Favre team as it's been the last 3 years, he can't get past 10 games healthy and still tries to play unhealthy and fades hard down the stretch.

          you watch.

i watched it last year, am expecting it this year-lol
then again, the luck of the Jets is deplorable, he'll probably stay healthy all season.

You know I don't think he wanted to play with the Jets in the first place so he did not give his all...He wanted to come here.He says this is the best team he has ever played with and I can see that...I have a really really good vibe for this year.If we can win the Ravens game I think peopla are gonna really start to take notice...I'm having a party Sunday for it...Come to think of it I have a party every Sunday for it...HA

he gave his all, but he tore a bicep that the jets and he did not disclose, thus the jet collapse the last 5 weeks of the season after they were 8-3.
The jets, staff, and coaches were all fined for not disclosing the injury a few weeks ago. This is fact. He gave his all but how do you throw a ball with a torn bicep?
It showed too, lots of interceptions, underthrows, etc. It was painful to watch, believe me-lol
With Adrian "Purple Jesus" Peterson running the ball, Favre should be able to make it
through, AP takes a lot of pressure off of everyone when you think about it.

He is dude, that guy is off the charts, and if he gets up some steam and is 3 plus yards or more into a run forget it.
That's what a good friend of mine in New York who is a fantasy nut calls him.
