Exactly what I was thinking. Usually the transition is from American to National so this will be interesting. Wonder what the next big trade will be now

and the Mets will be officially presenting Jason Bay today as the deal is finally done.
Why don't the Sox ever just pony up the money, especially after landing Lackey.
They've got the pitching, look for them to sign a bat soon to replace Bay.

The Big Unit's finest moment for me was when he hurled a zillion mile an hour fastball over Kruk's head in the All Star game, Kruk hardly stood in the box the rest of the at bat and struck out meekly after that, that was awesome.

Mr Selig would like to see a "real world series" between the winners of MLB and the Nippon League. I think it would be pretty cool..Scheduling would be hell and all the idiots that whine the season is too long already would be SOL.
Just pick a nice indoor park in either country and do a best 2 out of 3 games.
