I don't D+D, but lets be honest, most of us over probably 25-30 probably has at one point. It was what it was, laws are stricter now, and people respect them. Most people I know keep it under control if they're driving, the problem children are always going D+D until something tragic does happen. Again I'm not defending driving while intoxicated, just pointing the fact most of you have done it and got lucky. No need be hypocrites about it.

i can bet anyone here railing against it... has driven above .08. point 0 8. 2 beers on an empty stomach? Get real. Not to mention studies have been done about texting and using your cell phone while driving puts you (realistically) at .07.

I agree, speaking out is fine, I just don't think flaming the guy that bad was cool, it could have been almost anyone at some point.
