Good growls really add a new dimension to the vocals (e.g. Opeth). Bad growls are just silly (every metalcore band on the planet).

I don't really hate Cookie Monster.

I do feel disappointed that he lost his integrity with that whole "Cookies are a 'sometimes food'" bullshit, but I understand that after he was busted with all that coke, he had no choice but to do what they told him to do, or pay the piper.
