I'm thinking it'd be just as good to simply clone my Morley ABY box's layout and add more outputs. $900 seems a bit excessive, as does having an actual power transformer in it.
Surely someone's done this before? I mean, I just need a box that has 8 outputs, and those outputs each go to a different preamp, which then all go into a mixer. I can select which ones are active by their individual channel knobs/mutes, and mix and match as I please (as well as do all the stereo field panning, etc).
