Yup GT, she's stock! Jackson Humbucker ( wunder who made'em? Dimarzio?)
Jackson tuners. Hadn't really been played that much. Used her for a back-up
guitar. I believe I'll get that Mesa out, take the cover off and warm those
tubes up again. LOL Hard to believe that's the only lectric I kept??? Took it
out this a.m. took the pics. Dunno how they manage to dust on'em in the
case. Guess if I wiped her down she'd look almost new..........

Nope - Jackson made their own pickups and electronics. As I understand it, they purchased the old (original) equipment from Fender (and a few of their employees).

I've also done alot of reading on this and don't understand
something and maybe one of youse guys can edjimicate me.
After the transition to Japan the neckplates had the Ft Worth, TX
plate which was only a point of distribution for the hot little
Japanese models. My Rhoads had San Dimas and the soloist had
Ontario. The Charvels neckplate on mine says USA under TX and
it also has a small uh, I think it's called toothpaste logo Charvel
            with the six digit S.N.
You are correct about the Ft Worth plates, that has been a point of contention / confusion for lo all these decades! Ft Worth plates are almost all Made In Japan (same factory since 1986 to present!).

San Dimas was the PO box location that was used as mailing for the "original" USA factory, which was actually in Glendora, California (from the late 70s until 1986). In 1986, the USA factory moved to Ontario, CA and operations continued there until 2003, when everything got moved into the Fender compound in Corona, CA. I have been to all 3 California locations.

Here's a question: Did J/C ship over the electronics to Japan for installation, or were they installing here before distribution?

the one you have is a Model 1, the only one of the Model series to have a maple board (I think?).

                  nice axe!

I had a Model 2 for years and years but I just sold it recently after I got my Charvel USA promod.
