My wife is in the Army Reserves and training at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, so I'm flying down to visit her in March. My brother is coming along, as he's going to SXSW in Austin, where a friend of his lives, and an old co-worker/bandmate of mine lives in between San Antonio and Austin. What was going to be a long weekend is now a five-day adventure. We're flying in on a Wednesday, but since my wife is in class during the week and my brother's buddy in Austin will be away on business until Friday evening, we're just hanging out with my former bandmate for the first two days.
Anyway, if anyone either 1) lives near San Antonio or 2) can suggest something cool to check out while I'm there, let me know. I'll be on a tight budget and sharing a rental car with my brother, so nothing over-the-top this time around. I'll probably be driving down (from Minnesota) in June when Mrs. Zone graduates from AIT.
