The WHO sucked ass. Townsend sounded like some 13 yr old kid in his bedroom trying to play along with a WHO record for the first time. I mean dammit man. Its time to hang it up. either get it right, or dont do it. just throw in the towel. Daltrey sounded terrible. wasnt hitting the correct notes or singing the phrases correctly. just a real half assed performance. it was a damn shame to see.

I agree on how bad the Who were. But on to the game, I had been a closet saints fan for awhile, they just never were a team to be proud of before. But living in MN i wish favre coulda held it together. We really did win that game, the scoreboard just didn't show it... Meaning we coulda beaten the colts because we "beat" the team that beat them. My two cents worth.

I thought the Who played fine. Daltry can't hit those notes anymore, so he sang other ones that still fit the key. Townsend acted like he couldn't hear himself, which wouldn't be surprising given the volume of the crowd (who all seemed to be singing along).

The game was fun to watch IMO, but I'm not a football fan. First half I thought the Colts were going to run away with it, but the Saints turned it around in the second and the Colts panicked.

I dont think so. Farve would have screwed up and whipped an interception in the end like he always does. I know, I know, everyone raves about how he is the best ever and all that shit. rah rah rah, farve farve farve, but I say bullshit. When it came down to crunch time, and it counted the most is when he always fukked up and threw an interception. he never knew when to use his brain instead of his arm. statistics? yes he has them. but he has also thew a HEALTHY dose of interceptions as well that nobody seems to want to talk about. how many important games has he flushed down the toilet by doing something stupid in the end? he doesnt make good decisions.

I should've said said the vikes instead of favre. We had WAYY to many turnovers. period. And favre threw only 7 (i think) interceptions this year. He is a star. Brees may have won the bowl, but he is NOT better then manning or favre. The saints just played better over all. I don't see alot of people on here listening to rap, but in the song lil wayne made for madden, favre is the all time best. lol

That's what I thought when I saw it too. To be honest, the only song I really know by them is behind blue eyes. To say the least, I thought they were terrible. Especially since this was my first time really hearing them. But my dad used to listen to them and swears by them, so who knows...

Well I'll admit I don't have much experience with them aside from the occasional song on the radio. I didn't expect them to sound like they did in the 60s/70s. I mean, Daltry is almost 66. I thought they put on a solid performance, especially Ringo's son on drums.

dwight Freeney was ailing in the 2nd half, they kept wrapping up his ankle and his pass rush was not the same. I guess the medication was wearing off after the halftime show that takes forever, and the ballsy onside kick was a hell of a call, since it worked-lol it was 10-0 Colts, and then they were outscored 31-7. As I said they were jackrolled after their fast start. And Newc, as far as you saying you didn't see any Jets there, i haven't seen any Jets in the Bowl since i was 4 years old, and i was incoherent then as well so I've never seen them there-lol

Brees was definitely better than Manning or Favre last night - when it counted most the whole year. Believe me, I am a Favre fan - grew up 10 miles away from him. And Manning is undeniably great, as well as Son of St. Archie - had the Saints lost last night, I would have taken comfort that they were beaten by a juggernaut led by a prodigy.

But they DIDN'T lose, they turned around a 10-0 deficit and won 31-17. Any parsing about this is just sour grapes. Might have gone to a tie? Oh yeah, then Manning was intercepted and that was run back for a TD. To wrap it up instead. That was a great play right there!

It was a great game, quit your sniveling and recognize the Saints as the Super Bowl Champions that they are. Took us long enough, for sure, but we ARE the world champions. So deal with it.

i love how the announcers were trying to pin that interception on Reggie Wayne's route-lol, gadzooks man, Manning made a mistake, it happens, even to the best, and Porter was all over it. Brees tied Brady's superbowl record with 32 completions as well.
