Back on topic. Smokers being treated like 2nd class citizens these days. Some cities we cant even smoke in public at all(inside or out), but in the same city I can go to a bar get shit faced, drive home and wreck and kill your Aunt Bertha. Not that Im against alcohol(I am anti drunk driving however), its just absurd to me. Highly!!

I smoke, I can't at work 'cause that would be bad for the other guys'. However, I can sit inside a closed shop and weld on galvanized steel and that's okie dokey ~ no freakin' logic.

It's purely about control, now congress has mandated that they put 'toxic bromides' in all cigarettes/ what kinda horse shit is that, it's bad for you, but now, by our laws - it's gonna be much worse!!!!! Completely without the authority to do that, so you non smokers go ahead and laugh away, the quicker we die from the federally mandated poisons...... the quicker they need to tax you, for some heinous offense ,,,,,,,, like breathing!~

That sounds like the words of someone that realizes he'll never have the skills it takes to play country music. Playing country requires you to articulate notes without gobs of distortion from a Bugera with the gain dimed. It requires dynamics and accurate string bending and chords constructed of more than the root and the fifth. When they harmonize in country they don't necessarily play straight parallel thirds but they do play double and triple stops at crazy tempos - not like when you pretend to be Yngwie with your Boss pitch shifter. And they don't need to use their neck pickup and tons of delay just to play above the 12th fret.

my first day in california, i had landed the night before and my friend and i went on a bender. got in late, and awoke to go sit down by the pool in a hungover mess. i stretch out on a lounge chair and a lady is two chairs away from me reading a book.
i fire up a smoke, and she immediatelt shuts her book, looks over annoyingly at me and says (i'll never forget this) "excuse me, are you going to be smoking long?"
i said- "what?????"
she said- "I said are you going to be smoking long?"
i said-"smoking long? well, i'm gonna fukkin' finish it if that's what you want to know, and i'm probably gonna light another in 10 minutes or so if that helps you"
she was miffed and said "fine!!" and she gets up and starts walking to the other side of the pool. i said jesus lady, relax. she fires back- "i'm getting the second hand smoke!!"
i ended it with -"how do you think i fuckin' feel? i'm getting the first and the second hand smoke"
i got thrown out of a pizza parlor about an hour later up the block. i was from new york, and california had me scratching my head that day, took me a while to get used to stuff out here. anyway..............

Our county board or council passed an ordinance to make smoking illegal in all public places in our county. now who the fuck died and made them god? outlaw smoking? come on people, you are county board members, not supreme court judges!!!! fuck there is no damn state law on this, how the hell does a county board get the authority to pass a law? they arent fuckin lawmakers, they are supposed to decide how much money to spend on road repairs, to shop health insurance prices for county employees, to approve budgets, shit like that, not make laws. too many fuckin laws......thats whats wrong with this fucking country. the government is just full of people that think making laws are going to solve everything. yea, go you on with your badself there lawmaker. we can already see how effective laws are........ I mean look how laws stop drugs, and stop murders, and stop arson and child abuse. yea, just go ahead and make some more laws. that will solve everything. I mean it instantly made my health better when they passed that smoking law.

It's a revenue generator for your county. The sheriff can now ticket anyone caught smoking in any public place. They will likely nail you for littering as well if they catch you outside a building and notice a bunch of butts on the ground. You want to fight it, you'll have to submit to DNA testing on the butts on the ground - at your expense, of course.
