I had a MAK 90 sporter (AK47 with thumbhole stock due to the assault weapons ban, boo).

        I also had a Mini-14.

I sold them both, so I can shoot something that I won't go to jail for I wasn't shooting them near often enough, and my photography was really taking off.

The good news is, I sold them to a friend and can still shoot them anytime he goes out

I like guns too, but am much too lazy to go and take some pics. There have been a few threads in the past about guns ......

Here's some .308 love from one of those threads ~

                    Compound bows?
Yes, Pearson Stealth it may be dated a bit but still effective in target shooting or shooting deer.

                    Guns?
                    Double barrel shotgun
Did have 4-10 which was great for rabbit hunting got rid off it... don't rabbit hunt anymore.
                    An old 12 gauge shotgun
22 automatic rifle this is great for squirrel hunting.
                    Winchester automatic rifle
An older police 38 special handgun/pistol.

                    Knives?
Inherited all my dad's including the ones he made while in tool in die years ago before he retired.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.

                          Jayster,

Is that a PTR or an actual HK? I want to get one of those to build into a PSG1...

I have a few rifles...I'll just post pics when I'm home in two weeks instead of ruining the surprise.

                            David, it's a PTR.
Maybe one day this week I'll take a few more pics.

There are many other members here also, that believe in firearms ownership(maybe some of them will chime in) .....

You should check this site out...

                              www.hkparts.net

Adam is the SHIT. Incredibly helpful and he knows his H&K's. I got my MP5 parts kit and receiver flat from there as well as the internals for my UMP .45 conversion. He clipped and pinned the lower for free...he's a great guy.

You can find all kinds of goodies for your PTR on there. And the beauty of .308 HK rifles is that almost all internals are compatible between different models...ie HK91/HK G3/PSG1/MSG90/etc. Just sayin'...
