One of my favorite things to read monthly is from the American rifleman and it's a column titled "the armed citizen", it contains many stories from the preceding month of 'scumbag derelict thugs' trying to steal from hard working law abiding armed Americans.

On a side note, shortly after reading this and replying this morning - I discovered about 7 cars were broken into(in my neighborhood last night). I personally had an xd 9 stolen, after filing a police report and listening to an ambivalent cop, who told me they simply don't have the man power to 'patrol' through my neighborhood ~ I informed him that, now I know these scumbag derelicts are armed and if the "chosen defenders of the people,can't be bothered to defend the neighborhood. Then I'll do it myself." So I strongly recommend these punks don't even think about coming back here. I've sent the kids off for the weekend and am more than willing to enter into discourse of the fatal kind with these douchebags!!!!

What really blew my mind is the so called cop, didn't want to finger print the cars or anything else, I guess they might have to actually confront a suspect that they now know is armed, so do I ~ and can tell you how that's gonna play out, a couple less scumbags

Well, I understand about 7-8 languages. I have also studied Latin even though I don't like it. My mother works in National Library and has access to all kinds of rare shit. And the best home defense weapon is a 12ga shotgun loaded with rock salt. I can absolutely promise you, no matter how badass that you think you are, one slug of rock salt to your upper torso will put you down quick, fast, and in a hurry.

What exactly is an "assault rifle"? My AR-15 is pretty much for target shooting. .223 is a fun, low recoil caliber to shoot for recreation. Some use them for hunting.
