Thought about joining the air force out of high school, but decided that getting shot down wasn't worth the risk, even though flying a fighter jet would be awesome. Got as far as talking to a recruiter a couple times. Not to mention that I don't really agree with the majority of the country's military decisions, but that's not the point of this thread.

My buddy's in psychological warfare in the army, not sure what division, etc. Another guy I went to high school with graduated West Point a couple years ago and was commanding in Afghanistan last I head.
