As long as there are thunderstorms hail can happen anywhere, the bigger the t-storm the better the chances are for hail are. This is a cliff notes verion of how hail forms....Originally posted by atomic charvel guy View Post

Brutal. With that sort of velocity I suppose it would have done a heck of a number on someone if it hit em.
I've seen cars that look like golfballs with all the little dents from hail, but I've never seen anything like THAT. Pretty amazing. Wonder what the weight of them was.
Right through laminated glass....it punched through both pieces & the laminate???? Geez.

I think they use the Caprice as cop cars in the states, sort of a Pontiac G8, longer wheel base. It's a year old, $70000 grand car.Comment
