Just wondering if anyone loves them as much as I do.I have a G22 I got a couple years ago and just knocked the dust off of it today.I spent 100 rounds before I knew it.Needless to say it get's more expensive shooting spray paint cans but it's more fun than punching holes in paper.I love .40

You know they make a 22lr conversion for the .40 glocks. It would be alot cheaper to shoot 500 of those than 100 .40 rounds.Somehow i dont feel the effect would be the same though.I love shooting milk jugs full of water.22's go right through em',it's not the same.BLS/SDMF

Guys, hold the presses. You DO NOT want to fire ANY reloaded ammo in a Glock. Seriously. Even their own owner's manuals say so. Ever heard of the infamous Glock "kaboom?" Some Glocks don't have a fully supported barrel and if there's even a tiny bit of the shell casing that isn't fully contained, it can explode in your hand.

I'm a member over at glocktalk.com and have heard several horror stories about reloading with glocks.Seen plenty of pictures too. From what I have gathered it's more hype than anything. If you order new brass everytime and load the right amount of powder it's shouldnt be a problem. Most people reload brass over and over.I still dont plan on reloading my own but if I did it would be with quality one shot casings.BLS/SDMF

Just about every firearm manufacturer out there warns against using reloads. I personally have shot reloads in both my Hi Power, PPK with no issues. I have also seen pictures of a guy's Colt AR that had catastrophic failure while using reloads.

I've been on GlockTalk a few times. I'm mainly a Springfield XD fan, though.

Glock 22 here.....Now on reloads I dont buy that you cant use them in certain Glocks, that just doesnt make sense. Glocks big selling points is the ease of use, its ability to shoot just about any type of cartriage, and just about under all curcimstances. To me that says that Glock is the AK-47 of the pistol world Seriously though, they say you can drive the thing over with a tank and it will still shoot, but you cant put reloads through it? I say it has to do with operator error more then the pistol itself. (the person who did the reloads) My grandpa always reloaded his shit and back in them days guns werent as well built as they are today, and he reused his brass, but he also took care of it.

The responding officer refused to print the car and furtherly informed me that they were to busy to patrol my neighborhood at night, even though 7 other cars were broken into....Last edited by Jayster; 03-24-2010, 01:11 AM.Enjoying a rum and coke, just didn't have any coke...
