another close call to a no hitter for the Yankee's. Thats twice they made to the 8th (I think Sabby made that far). They have 148 to go to try for a perfect game

hughes' delivery was awesome last night, the A's couldn't catch up to his fastball whatsoever.
according to Posada after the game, it was so good that he threw only 10 curveballs and not one changeup last night.

absolutely, he's a homer of grand proportions. I put him on usually for about the first hour everyday
at 10 a.m. out here on the yes channel on direct t.v.
i liked the show a lot better when he was still with Chris Mad Dog Russo, it kept the playing field more level.

Eureka!!! A team in the A.L. West has climbed to a game over 500.-lol
there's still 137 games left but what's going on with the Red Sox pitching staff? they have two outfielders hurt,
but still, swept by the Orioles? Their staff is 2nd worst in E.R.A. in the A.L., lots of time left though, but they don't want to fall
any further behind the way the Rays and Yankees are playing.

He had a great long life Shawn. Sucks he had to battle cancer though to round out the last year
at his age.

Ernie was radio greatness. I grew up lisntening to him call the Tigers games. As a little kid I 'd listen to him on a little am radio with the one earphone in and act like I was asleep when my mom would come and see if I was staying up too late on a school night listening to the game lol.

Yankees in Fenway for 3, I'm concerned with the current injuries the Yankees have.
Not as scary a lineup this weekend, and the pitching matchups are great. the Red Sox
can right the ship and take advantage of this, they just swept 4 from the much hated Angels.
Don't count the Sox out whatsoever. They have a ridiculous pitching staff.
