    jg is right,Jeri.Take the time off to expand your playing horizons and when you decide to get back in a band,you can take what you learned from your last experience and use it to your advantage............

      Been there, done that, but I quit because there was an asshole that couldn't get along with anyone else - me

        It was many years ago but that's why I stepped away from it too, it was no longer fun.
        People change, ego's get in the way, mood swings, adults being child like and etc.
        When among difficult people anything loses it's luster.

        Maybe relax a bit, but out of this there is some music in you waiting to be written
        Let the moment dictate your writing.
