I have come across one of these in EX+++ condition with all paper work, box, and 5 mags.

What's a good price to offer my friend? We're both unsure of the value and I don't want to rip him off.

What's the date code?

EDIT: If you don't know, HK's have a two letter date code engraved along with the factory proof marks and serial number. And better yet, if you could get pictures of all of the engravings (minus the last 3 digits of the serial) and also get an accurate round count, I could help you better determine its value.

If it's an unfired, LNIB P7M8 w/ 5 mags and all the case candy, you're looking at paying him $1,300. And that's almost a steal.

Is that the squeeze cocker? NJ State Police used to carry them. I recall they had problems with them (likely related to maintainence but of course that's never the admitted reason).

For that kind of scratch I would be looking Mark 23, but I'm a .45 kinda guy. If it's for carry, then, like, nevermind
