Great Artist. He switched from drawing/painting right handed to left handed after a stroke and was even better. Gotta love the "Death Dealer"

      RIP...I don't know him.

But if your guys dig him..he must be cool.

Holy shit ..he was one of my biggest inpiration as an artist (just didn't know his name) . He did alot of cover art of my beloved vintage Creepy, Eerie, Vampirlla, Warren mags. I have a good collection.

Wow, he was actually a HUGE part of my life.

When people say "who ?" , I say "Molly Hatchet album covers". I love his work. There's a really good documentary DVD, "Painting with Fire", I think. There is also a Frazetta museum that I will someday get to.

Yes, a big influence on my own oil paintings back in the 80's.
I tried to capture that style in acrylics but only oil worked for
                those transitional shades.

                RIP, awesome as said.

I still have a bunch of old Edgar Rice Burroughs paperbacks with his covers. He was great. RIP.

Loved his stuff as a youngster. Guys with 70's custom vans (and Molly Hatchet) will have to look elsewhere for new artwork.
                    RIP Frank
