I was fortunate enough to see him open for Iron Maiden. I thought, how can such a big huge voice from such a tiny man. Stomach cancer is a tough thing to go through, its a painful way to go and I actually had no idea he was dealing with it because he has been touring, what a tough motherfucker. His voice, so unique, will never be replaced.
His vocal performance here is astonishing.

Man... this is so disappointing....
I remember meeting Craig Goldie @ NAMM. All he could talk about was Ronnie and what a great guy he was, how Dio was so fatherlike to him from the time that they met. What a crushing loss in the music industry.
