Congratulations on advancing to the final and being the Western Conference Champions Hellbat. Joe "Blow" Thornton is golfing and that makes me happy Detroit would have put much bigger fight. Rest up and watch Tampa and Boston go 7...
Actually Thornton was pretty good in the series but Heatley can't fuckin skate better than the average peewee player. I don't know who I'd rather face to be honest. I'd like to think barring disaster that we could take either team, but if Thomas goes into superfreak mode he can steal games at least.

thornton aint gonna be golfing anytime soon. He played the last two games with a separated shoulder.
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL
Going to be a goaltender duel of a Cup final. I'm still up in the air on who I want to root for, do I stay with my love of the West or my love of the Original Six? I have a few days to ponder that before they Stanley Cup finals start.
The cup is almost completely in the hands of the play of Tim Thomas.we have a high scoring team with a top 5 goalie against
a low scoring team with el numero uno goalie. i think the Canucks are just too much for any team in this league this year.
I actually thought TB would be difficult for Vancouver to crack until they figured a way to beat the 1-3-1 system. That right there frustrates skilled puck possession teams like Vancouver. Boston won't be able to run and gun with Vancouver. Thomas can be the negater...he had an outstanding regular season and nothing has changed in the playoffs.
if the Bruins play very physical and hit the snot out of them without going to the penalty box alot for it, and thomas is on,
the bruins could very possibly surprise and win, but the zebras will find a ton of ways to screw the cup finals up with
their soft calls. makeup calls, misunderstood rules calls from the handbook, etc. , i hate the zebras, they suck so bad.
Well, there is only 2 ways that this can go now right? I can see either team winning and finals have gone differently than I have foreseen before so...
Anyway, if Boston plays physically and keeps the pressure on them in that way (& Thomas plays well) then they will likely beat Vancouver.
If Vancouver can be elusive and use their speed (which they have a lot of) then they will beat Boston.
The zebras are an intangible.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.
I would love nothing more than to see the entire series called like game 7 between Boston/TB. Let the boys play and decide the outcome instead of refs putting teams on the 5 on 3 or a slow poke game with whistle after whistle for make believe infractions turning a great game into a special teams borefest....Do they get more money for camera time or something? Almost like hey, I havemt been on TV enough so I better make some calls...
Maybe the Winnipeg fans will actually come to the games. I've never seen an NHL arena as empty as the one in Atlanta.
atlanta is a tough market for fans, the braves owned the town through the 90's, and now the falcons do, otherwise it's a small market
and tough to fill seats unless the owner spends a bunch on great players.
a lot of the non-traditional markets are fair-weathered fans. If the team does well and wins the city jumps on the bandwagon, when they do poorly they stay at home. Atlanta got double whammed, bad team and bad management. If you want to fill the barn, start by putting a decent product on the ice...charging NHL ticket prices for AHL level is a rip off. I bet the only time they had a good showing was when good teams came to town
