I can't wait to see the Flyers open up the Pens' new building with a thorough beating.

Except for goaltending, I see no faults on the Flyers team this year. Maybe a Cup to go with the Phils' World Series trophy?

Then again, probably not. I checked the roster for the hawks, unless some of the new guys step up, its razor thin. And campbell is out for 4 weeks. Not good at all. Guess we'll see how it starts tonight.

Flyers played the better game second period on. Knew it was over when Giroux scored the shorty. Was a good game but damn I hate it when we lose to the Flyers...

Flyers weatherd the storm in the first then played good hockey from there. Cudos to that rookie goalie...his D hung him out to dry early and he rose to the occassion. Both goals that he gave up would have been hard stops for anybody...one great shot and one that he couldn't see.
Pens couldn't seem to find the net when they had their opportunities...I'm blaming it on that water from the igloo ice that they poured out on the new surface at the beginning of the game

Eberle scored a sweet one for Edmonton last night. Looks like they were playing the Tampa gameplan. Suck for 5 years straight and then ice a line up of first overall picks.

@Rupe/Razor - yeah Bobby kept the Flyers in the game until they woke up and started playing in the 2nd. If they can play like this all season, I have a good feeling about the playoffs.

Actually my favorite thing about that play is the pass out of the zone off the board by the defenseman. That's just a sick heads up play.
