I was listening to some neo-classical shred and started to wonder what are the hardest songs to play. I've heard Perpetual Burn by Jason Becker is up there. What in you're experience have you found really, really challenging to learn how to play?

'Trane's "Giant Steps", managed to play maybe a quarter of the tune, all this neo-classical stuff seems like taking a piss after that. If one day I get the need to be in top shape I know what I have to master. Here's the sheet music going along with the tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kotK9FNEYU notice how absurd most of the fingerings are if you apply it to the guitar.Last edited by Endrik; 10-30-2010, 05:21 AM."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Watching Micheal plays this, it looks so easy! I've seen him once live and he is a flawless player, very impressive.
