If you want to hear some interesting jazzy metal, look up Exivious. The musicianship is top-notch.
      I like EL34s.

love jazz myself. Joe Pass is awesome.

I prefer the Jazz fusion stuff myself but yeah...I get into it. I like Classical and Jazz just as much as hard rock, melodic metal

i like it all. rock, pop, funk, blues, jazz, disco, anything, if it sounds good to your
              ears, then it is good.
listening to only one type of music is only depriving yourself and your ears.

I like some jazz. I like some of lots of music. Except rap and country. No good.

Norwegian "The Shining" if you want something really out there. Or you could go with CAB (MacAlpine, Burnell and Chambers), The Flower Kings (which is progrock but has alot of jazzelements. Recommended) or some ol' Gambale.

I have the same problem with classical music and jazz. I like a lot of it, but I don't really know enough about it to indentify the types that I like, which makes finding it fumbling in the dark. Anyways, I listen to Robben Ford, Scott Hendersen and Miles Davis regularly.
