  • I'm meeting George Lynch!

    Bros,

Some of you might know that Lynch is my favorite guitarist. I routinely jam out to Lynch Mob/Dokken tunes at my favorite local music store with the owner, Al. Al grew up in the 80's and is a hardcore Lynch fan. As it turns out, George is having a clinic up here on Dec 3rd following some tour dates with Souls of We...

Al knows how much I love George's playing, so he's got me coming in an hour before the store opens for the clinic to hang with George while everything gets set up.

    Pics will definitely be posted!

    Lucky You!
Love his gain drenched squelchy distortion tone!

That should be really cool. I've always loved George's Tones. I just recently picked up a Zoom G2G Mr. Scary pedal and that thing nails those tones!!
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

Cool! Lynch is one of my favorites too. I met him in 2007 and he was very cool. Even got to have my picture taken with him holding one of his ESP custom "Mom" guitars. Here's hoping that your meeting goes very well!

Ask him if he is going to release "Smoke This Too"

I'm just kidding. George is one of my guitar heroes. Back for the Attack is one of my favorite guitar albums. I hope you have a good chance to chat, he seems like a pretty cool dude from most of the stuff I've seen with him.

Cool! Lynch has been one of my 3 or 4 top players for a long time. Congrats, and post some pics when you have them.

If he's cool with it, definitely.

Even a couple J/C-oriented questions would be cool! He once referred to his old Bengal (I think it was that one) as an endorsomatic or something of the like cos he had so many different brand names on the headstock, depending on who he was endorsing that week....obviously way before ESP. It'd be cool to know how many times it was relogoed!

How old are you DRM? This is scary, but I met George Lynch at the 1989 NAMM in Anaheim. I had him sign the trem cavity of an unfinished ESP I bought.

I just turned 20. Not to make you feel old...but I wasn't even born in '89!
