  • Hey VitG!!!

OK Digger, what do you need us to send? Boats or Fire extinguishers?

Or are you safe in your Wolf Creek death camp?

(Fucking hell, I watched "Black Water" yesterday, the New Zealand Tourist Board must have funded that film, you've got more chance of plaitting snot than seeing me in Oz now)
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

suddenly my lavish mansion perched atop the Great Dividing Range 150 kilometres from the coast seems like a good idea. Now we have ocean views. Whose laughing at my 2 hour commute to Brisbane now?

it is fun watching the kids frolic in the rushing brown waters. Of course, we occasionally lose one to the brown snakes you see gliding across the waters. And every now and then one will disappear, trapped in a storm water drain, but they know the risks going in. The SES has been having a great time airlifting people from the top of their stranded vehicles when they have tried to ford the raging torrent. Who knew you couldn't drive a Ford Focus through 5 feet of flowing water across a collapsing roadway?

Do you now live in the land down under water?

Never mind the Brown Snakes, I know how to handle them, I watched Steve Irwin. You wave a twig at them and say "Crikey!" a lot. It's the fucking crocodiles that terrify me, most definitely not to fuck with, far too clever. (Oh, and of course, psycho backpacker killers who like to make "heads on sticks".)

Anyway, don't you have to watch out for Bunyips or Yowies or Drop Bears where you live?

I've gotta say, the weather up north sounds like nothing compared to here. It's slightly humid today, I've got my shirt off!

There was a few clouds the other day too, what the fuck summer!

Sort of off topic, but I was planning on going to Cairns for vacation in March when my crushing workload eases a bit.

Last time I was there was during October, and it was hot as hell. What's the weather there like in March?

Last time I was in Cairns I remember thinking it wasn't too hot. Didn't stop my icecream melting out of the cone faster than I could eat it.

Temperatures in March should be similar to what you experienced in October. Except it will be really wet & humid. That's the tail end of monsoon season. Here's some info:

And what about the serial killer situation in Cairns? Much competition for you up there?

Holy fuck, I dont know how many dark blue Ford Falcons are in Toowoomba, but the local CBS station just reported on the situation, and there it was, a dark blue Ford Falcon like the one in Vit's pic of his Slime Green Charvel in the middle of the flood waters. Hope youre ok bud. I cant seem to google the pic they used, but it freaks me out a bit. I just sent an email to the news station requesting the pic or the URL of its origin. Hope youre doing ok out there.

                      Heres Vit's pic:
