Of the big ones, I'm with Endrik that Cage absolutely sucks. Keanu Reeves is also not very impressive, but he seems to at least be in better movies than Cage. And I think it goes without saying that many of the "stars" of martial arts films and movies like can't act, but I'm not into that stuff anyway, so what do I care (it's not really about the acting in those anyway, is it)... About Pulp Fiction, I read somewhere that Tarantino wanted somebody else to play Vincent, but right now I can't remember who. Good that he ended up using Travolta; he was great in that role and it revived his career.

Gotta agree with Jack Black. Establishes a character type in High Fidelity (Good movie), and then just endlessly repeats it.
Orlando Bloom. WTF? No discernable ability. I'm told he's cute by those who notice that kind of thing. See also Keira Knightley (Ok, she is cute)
John Malkovitch. I just don't get this one. If he's so good, why does he play the same character all the time?
Rowan Atkinson. Love the guy's old TV stuff, but any movie he's in stinks.
And last, and quite probably least, Hayden Christiansen.

Oh, and fuck that Kevin Smith guy too...

        Oh yeah, Keanu Reeves sucks.
You don't have any idea how I felt when one of my biggest idols Bernardo Bertolucci cast Keanu as the lead in Little Buddha.
You go from Peter O'Toole, Jean-Pierre Léaud, Burt Lancaster, Marlon Brando, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Massimo Girotti, Robert DeNiro, Stefania Sandrelli, Dominique Sanda etc. etc. to Keanu fucking Reeves??? I don't get it. Bernardo started going downhill since that.

Oh, man, I forgot about Hayden. He ruined Star Wars for me, or maybe the guy to blame for that is Lucas himself. But even then it seemed like a lot of the other actors were able to compensate the bad script.

Tom Cruise is horrible. Same performance every time. The only thing he's ever done that was worth a shit was his cameo in Tropic Thunder.

tom cruise, adam sandler, jack black, will ferrel, jon favreau, vince vauhgn, owen wilson, the list goes on forever.....................
i don't know if it's their acting, or the horrendous material that has been written for them to act out.

now, the most versatile actor i've ever seen is Hopkins. That guy convinces me everytime
of whatever role he has ever played.
Most underrated actor- GARY OLDMAN. That guy is fukkin' great.

Nah just kidding. My vote goes for Adam Sandler. All his movies are shit.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

+10 on Jack Black. I just don't get it. Everyone keeps telling me, because I play geet & dig hard rock/metal, that I simply MUST see "School of Rock". I've tried. It sucks. Jack Black comes across as "guy who wants to pretend to be a huge fan of metal and hard rock but is doing it in an ironic and not real way, and he's really just a cultural tourist and is not really a "fan"". Ditto with the whole "Pick of Destiny" thing. Worshipping Dio but at the same time, mocking.

Oh. And he's not funny. Sorry.

+1000 on Gary Oldman. Dracula AND Drexel? Guy's a genius. Put those 2 characters in a room & you'd swear they were different actors, aside from the facial features.

Will Farrell. Absolutely can't stand the guy. He can't act and he's just not funny. I truly loath that man as an actor and comedian.
Not a big fan of Christian Bale, either. The guy's a decent actor and he's been in some great movies. But dear gawd, what a prima donna!
Keanu Reeves - "Whoah." - nuff said.
Ben Affleck - Stick with the "clerks" movies, big guy. And quit trying to fock your way to the top.

I use to hate Nicholas Cage, his dialogue in films sounded like he was reading from a script. I still don't think he's a great actor, but the last couple of movies he's been in hasn't been quite so offensive to me..

                      My bad list:
Will Ferrell (Honestly, how many movies is he going to make in his underwear? Even his voice makes me want to throw a grenade at the screen)
Steve Carell (40 year old virgin wasn't bad, but everything else blows, especially the Office)
                      Will Ferrell
Jerry Sinfeld (I don't even need to say anything on this one)
Seth Rogan (must have a great agent, that's all I can say)
Crispin Glover (I can't put my finger on it, but the guy just creeps me out.)
                      Will Ferrell
John C Rielly ( should have kept walking hard until he was out of site)
Adam Sandler (Another one with a voice that makes you shoot things)
                      Jack Black
Owen Wilson (Luke Wilson is a better actor, and that ain't sayin' much)
Did I mention Will Ferrell? I really can't stand that douchbag.

                        Vass,
                        Drexel was the shit!!!
for Oldman, check out Sid and Nancy, Chattahoochee, alongside Dennis Hopper, don't forget
the disfigured guy he played in Hannibal, was that creepy or what? the Professional, everything he does is gold.
I love Oldman. one of my favorites. he's english, so is Hopkins, all the best actors seem to come from england.
i love Brendan Gleeson, Ralph fiennes, wait, i am disrespecting these great actors by mentioning their names in the same thread as a Keanu " i act like i am an oak tree that talks" Reaves. i apologize.

I agree on Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn. Jerry Sienfeld and Owen Wilson as well. they are terrible.

I think Valkyrie Tom Cruise is decent and has talent, but he dont use it. he just "cruises".

Keanu Reeves career should have ended with the Bill and Ted movies. he fit in those movies, but nowhere else.

Chuck Norris also should be added to the list. worthless actor.

                          Christian Bale. very limited.

The worst actor ever in history has to be Arnold Schwartzeneeger. I have seen better actors in pornos. seriously. that guy has ZERO talent. so he used to be able to lift heavy things. Wow. that really makes him a great actor.

not a big fan, but nicholas cage was o.k. in raising arizona.
his best movie by far was Lord of War. the rest i can live without with much ease.

                              Tone-
Arnold is not the worst actor in the world. in fact, he may be one of the best actors of all time.
we're talking about a guy who hoodwinked the state of california in to electing him into office.
how fukkin' good of an acting job is that? or does it fall on the people in the end, who in general, will get behind just about anyone or anything so they can feel like they are a part of something? Academy Award Arnold baby!!!!!!

I kinda like Nicolas Cage. He's got that "Batshit Crazy" thing down.
Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider are always good reasons to avoid a movie.
