Anything cool to do in Dallas?

Looks like im gonna be in Dallas for work in late Feb. Any cool guitar stores or resturants to check out in the area while im there? I used to live in San Antonio years ago and i liked it.

I used to go to two great rock clubs there when I lived in Dallas from 1987-1995, not sure if they are around anymore though.

Dallas City Limits - saw KISS on a warmup tour there and Halford's first solo band Fight.

The Basement - Saw Pantera there and Steelheart among other local rock acts.

Dallas City Limits is a titty bar now and the Basement was torn down years ago. The Arcadia burnt down (saw so many shows there it's not funny) and the Bronco Bowl (if you remember it) is a parking lot. If you're near downtown I recommend you go eat at El Ranchito, best Mexican food in town. If you do want to take in some interpretive dance you can go to the Club House. Vinnie Paul is sometimes there if not on tour and the scenery isn’t too bad either. Zoo Music in Garland has a ton of guitars but they are on crack when it comes to prices. Other then that it’s Guitar Center all day long.

My business is in Irving.I have not picked a place yet.Still looking....Not really into strip clubs. Id rather check out guitars.

go to Central Dallas Guitar Center (yes I said guitar center). Nice store although I havent been there in a while they had a lot of boutique gear, guitars and amps. The guy brings in nice stuff that really doesnt seem to fit the GC motif but lot of nice stuff when I was there.
