We got a bit of ice but it quickly turned to rain. That's okay with me. We still have 10" on the ground from the last storm.

We got a ton of freezing rain, thunder and lightning at 5am yesterday. Then came some snow. All of the roads are iced over, and I worked from home yesterday and today. Mrs. Sully is gonna go grab some old ice skates of hers and skate on the street. Sadly, she didn't get to keep her Ice Capades costumes, otherwise that'd make for a great pic!

thats already happened, its called global warming.

On a related topic, we lost power for almost 7 hours lastnight. I just got back home and apparently when I ran into the thermostat in the dark before I left lastnight, I flipped the switch to off, so its 50 degrees in the house right now. Doh!

I consider work from home days to be serious woodshedding days - no wife, dogs are sleeping - perfect time to get in 8 hours of insane shredding!

You're correct, it does snow every winter. But not on this magnitude. Here in Chicago, they're saying that this is the third largest snowstorm in Chicago history. It is a pretty big deal when they shut down Lake Shore Drive. (shut it down around 7pm last night and it is still shut down as of current posting)

Yeah, we got about 10 inches of snow, on top of the 1 1/2 inches of sleet we got. It's winter sure..but Oklahoma is not built for these kinds of winters, 2nd biggest snowfall. We had a 4 ft snow drift against our front door. Good thing I could get out the back door. Tomorrow our office is going to try and open, if anyone can finally make it there. We shall see. Oh..and it's a whopping 8 degrees right now, expected low of -3..again..not NORMAL for Oklahoma at all.

I worked from home yesterday. Today I decided to come into the office. Beginning to think that I should have just stayed home.
