I saw him live back in... maybe ´85 (Victims of the future era) with Neil Carter. He played a white Strat and also a Charvel Strat (I think). He had a small pedal board consisting of almost the same analog pedals as me, at the time. I have never seen a guitarist put so much energy into playing. He was at 100% through the whole show and he had the 3500 spectators by the balls. Singing and shredding. The ferocity he played with on the Victims of the future album was magnified live that night and I was simply blown away. Scared, almost. I got exhausted just by watching him. Gary was raw and true. Crap, I'm gonna miss him.
