wow, that sucks. Gary has been a favourite of mine since first hearing him play, right around when Victims came out. I can't say I play anything like him but he was a huge influence on me. He was sorely under appreciated by the greater public.Hail yesterday

Tell me I'm not the only one who is thinking "What's happening with THE Les Paul"? (Yep, THAT one. I'm sure Uncle Gary promised me I could have it when he was gone)So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
I nearly broke her back

What would you guys suggest as a good CD to get? Preferably with Thin Lizzy
Then you'll know, what he is (was) all about - my humble opinion (no Thin Lizzy though)uva uvam vivendo varia fit

I was a big Gary fan as a kid, one of my top 3. I wore Corridors of Power out, especially the track Cold Hearted.
I think Corridors was a top 5 guitar album of the 80's. Maybe not the absolute best songwriting (but good) but the playing and tones were just unbelievable.
