I'm still in shock and crushed. He was huge influence on my playing.
He played with such fire, aggression, and passion - he would strangle the s**t out of whatever he was playing (Strat or LP), and just commanded it - make it purr or scream for mercy.

RIP Gary - I hope you are up there tearing it up with Phil and Cozy...

Sorry to hear that, DonP. My condolences, for what they're worth.

On a related note, R.I.P. Gary. A great player, and an advocate of Bare Knuckle Pickups!

Gary had the heaviest attack I've ever heard, for that alone he influenced my playing a lot.

The first time I heard this song I had a new guitar hero. The super heavy 4 chords in the verses, the soft/hard dynamics throughout, and the singing/lyrical leads combined with insane speed runs. Just everything that makes a song great.

I love his corridors of power and victims of the future work. I played shapes of things in cover bands before. He was a great blues player but I never cared for his still got the blues work.

I'm going have to do an instrunental version of Empty Rooms (my fav Gary Moore song)

                                RIP Gary...
