Thought I'd say hi. Dunno if anyone remembers me...anyways, I'm learning to play now and picking it up pretty well. I LOVE my Dinky...I want a hardtail to go with this guy.
Tuning is a pain but thats the nature of the beast with a Floyd so it doesn't bother me too much. I finally found the nut clamps as well. My teacher is working chords with me, the simple stuff I can handle on my own...learning where the notes are on the fretboard and knowing treble cleff and the basic theory already speeds things up. Chords are challenging for me though, keeping my fat fingers off a string and arched and all that...ouch! But I love it, it's fun. Always thought I was string impaired LOL...
My professional friend says learn scales! hehe...then everything else is easy he says. He's great, kind of like a big brother. Just wish he wasn't on the other side of the planet.
