I would also like to mention that I have perfect pitch. When I hear Randy, it just "sounds" right-sort of like when a person speaks a gramatically correct sentence. When I hear Eddie, it sounds "off" to my ear, comparable to someone using "ain't" or double negatives when they talk (example- "I don't got nothing." I cringe when I hear music like this, which is why I cringe during so much of Eddie's stuff.)

You're wrong about that perfect pitch thing if you also think Randy didn't sprinkle a few clams in amongst his great soloing. What you really have is some ear training and an oversized ego. Also, you will find that most of the talent that makes it big has something that isn't quantified technically. Being jealous of that ill becomes you at any age, so the sooner you learn that, the better off you will be.
