Does your band have a "Press kit"???

Does anyone would have one in an electronic version that they could share with me?

I`m working on ours...

Well it is basically just a demo tape, biography, promo pictures and promo material...

In electronic bases you can do a flash animation type thingy...
With music in the background and with promo pictures popping up in the centre or smtg..
Like a website basically.

Ours was a promo with 4 songs, a live video, bio and pics with a simple flash interface. Alas, I no longer have a copy.

Thanks guys for the ideas! We were asked to provide something "not virtual" or "electronic"! That's funny as all the infos they asked for was on our web site.

I "googled" "band press kit" and got a few ideas. It's kinda weird that in our "modern" age, we get asked for a regular "band brochure" with photos, poster and even a DVD/CD packed in. Then we'll have to send it buy fedex/ups to their office.

I feel like 20 years ago! Except that the CD/DVD would be a tape cassette and a VHS!

We're in the process of reworking ours. We don't include full songs as those guys never listen all the way through a song on a demo pack let alone 4 or 5. We usually put about 30-45 seconds of each song on there using 3-4 songs and thats it. And yes, they want that stuff delivered to them even though its easier clicking on it at computer but the fact is they never do. In fact many of the ones who request hard copy stuff to be delivered to them never even look at it. Thats just how much they care about bands arounds here, sad really. Anyway I'd include a sample set list in there. We used to put bios in there but no one wants to read that so we eliminated it. Keep it simple for them and don't forget to include contact info in it too
