Also, I won't believe he was buried at sea until the POTUS or SECDEF say so. This is all coming from the same media who said he was killed by a Predator at a mansion in Islamabad.

Hopefully "burial at sea" means they tossed him out of a helicopter while he still had a slight pulse and chummed the water.

I'm not happy about the sea burial so quickly. I don't care about Muslims burial rights at this juncture. They didn't care when 3000 Americans died on 9/11. They didn't get proper burials either. Unless I see undoctored photos with two bullet holes in the head I'm a bit skeptical. I would have liked to see him put on a cross made from WTC beams, placed on a tank and paraded around Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq with a sign that says "this is what happens when you fuck with USA".

Noneless the war goes on so be prepared to battle. Whatever we do will not be right in the eyes of the Muslims be ready for counter attacks and additional hatred towards the east because of this.

A big high-five goes out to the Navy SEALs and CIA guys who conducted the raid, as well all of our military forces serving. Keep up the good work, I'm sure there will be more to do.

For the doubters... 1) They took DNA evidence to confirm it was him, which is 99.9999% accurate. 2) They took photos of the body before ditching him off the side of a warship. Just like Iraq, I'm sure these will get "leaked" in coming days. 3)

And lastly, on this day, let us not forget the victims of 9/11 themselves. RIP. Thoughts and prayers out to their surviving families and friends. Although very good news, I expect for many this also will be yet another painful reminder.

Burying him at sea keeps the muslims that don't want to kill americans happy and it keeps him from having a funerial that turns into a event that boosts al-queda. It's a win win.
Not caring about muslim beliefs is ignorant and a big reason 9/11 happened (go look up the CNN artical on his time line).

Rich, a big reason 9/11 happened was NOT due to our attitudes of Muslims, it was due to the fanatics in Al Queda as lead by Bin Laden. We didn't bring it on ourselves. But I will agree that the sea burial prevents allowing his grave site to become a shrine for the pilgrims of terror who would worship it and use it in a negative way.

How did he go from the US training him to fight the Russians in Afganistan to him going home after that war was over and working for his family to hating Americans? look at the 1990 date. Yes he was a nut, but we set him off.

*EDIT: And on a side note...we didn't just chase him around Pakistan. There's a good period of time he could have been back in his homeland of Saudi Arabia. I don't know, but given the non-existant borders between countries over there, there's no telling how long we've been close to him or how far we've had to go to make it happen.

I agree, Joe. On the news this afternoon they reported that a burial service was held on the ship with a muslim US Navy crew member reciting the prayers to ensure that Bin Laden was sent off "properly". What the fuck is that all about?
