Nuno (with Rihanna) and Zakk Wylde were on the same night awhile back.

People are selling their souls now to play in front of an instant audience of millions.

If G-n-R or Plant/Page ever reunite, it will happen there I'm sure.

Plant seems to be one of the few folks who wouldn't take part of that kind of parade, of course you'll never know but he seems even hostile against that kind of circus. He comes off as the absolute opposite to someone like Ozzy Osborune.

That's a fact, and i don't think you'll catch Page there either. They're Led zeppelin. Wrote the greatest tunes, literally invented the whole "unplugged" thing.
Had their own plane, and had Peter Grant as a manager who got them 90% of the gate which is simply unheard of for any band. But they got it wherever they played. They are way above this dumbing up of america shit. in fact if they do show up on that show , either one of them, not only will i watch it for the first time, i will hang myself right after it.

Not sure about Pagey, he has taken part of MTV events and that sort of stuff and approved Puff Daddy's version of Kazhmir and whatnot... but Robert is the one who hasn't lost his 60's spirit, he's pretty keen on replying with polite "fuck off you cunt" to all kinds of bubble gum mass entertainment propositions. If there's someone who refuses to play at SuperBowl half-time show, then my bet is on him.

I heard KK dropped out due to health reasons. Agreed the new guy was pretty good. I was really wanting Halford to rip him to pieces but he was respectful, which I guess is cool. I can't stand that kid anyway (Lambert was even better than him at that "range"), but at least he did bring some metal to the table.

I agree with Zep and the unplugged thing b/c they always had the dimension to their music. But IMO, I give MAD props to Telsa for bringing it more mainstream in the late 80's or early 90's.
