They need to bring back the long hair and neon-colored spandex. I saw them not too long ago and they looked like a jazz band trying to play rock.

I dig the band. I never thought Vernon was very good. Still don't. His claim to fame is being one of the first black "metal" shredders. I think he is very sloppy as a player although I do like his note selection at times.Comment

I agree he is sloppy. Was watching a recent GW vid where he was showing us the Cult of Personality riff. Way sloppy. He gets it done with the band though, and I think he's a seriously creative cat, particularly his rhythms, chord voicings, melodies.
