Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

The American justice system is alive and well.
The burden of proof was on the state, and the state simply did not provide sufficient evidence for a conviction. People let their emotions cloud their judgement, and they cry for vengeance.
at the end of the day, there wasn't any evidence to prove that Casey Anthony is anything other than a liar, and a MILF.
I think the jury did the right thing, and judged her based on the objective evidence provided, and not by their personal emotions and opinions
Also, I think I just heard Nancy Grace say 'party on, wayne'
today is a good day.

I argued with my girl last night about this, of course she falls into the jury were idiots crowd. I tried to explain to her that Cuntly Anthony did not have to prove she was innocent(and probably isn't), but that the state had to prove her guilty(which they didn't). So of course now I'm a heartless bastard????
Anyways, no matter what she's gonna have a tough road in front of her, no matter where she goes she willo be recognized and ostricized, discriminated against and quite possibly 'wacked'!!!!!Enjoying a rum and coke, just didn't have any coke...

"Beyond All Reasonable Doubt".
If not, then Not Guilty.
Funny how "All Reasonable Doubt" meant something different for the Hurricane!
Clearly she is s dumb bitch who doesn't deserve to live, but her problems and how she led her life are more symptomatic of the nation as a whole rather than the legal system (in this case).
This should set a boundary for all these over-paid under-intelligent talking heads on TV (Nancy Grace you know who you are!) that if you try to convict someone by popular opinion you only muddy the water for the real jury on the case. There was no way they could have convicted her after that media show because there would have been appeal after appeal on the grounds of jurys opinion swayed by media publicity. That would have cost everyone millions in continued court costs as this got drawn out over 20 years or so. Therefore the only verdict they could return was not guilty.

The problem is that the prosecution took it too far with the charges. They were unrealistic. Is she guilty? Probably... but the problem is, they could not PROVE she was guilty of 1st degree murder. If they would have gone with voluntary manslaughter or maybe even 2nd degree murder they would have had a much better shot. Without any concrete evidence of even what happenned to that poor little girl, how can you convict someone of premeditating her murder? You cant, and unfortunatley the jury cant find her guilty of a lesser charge.
The thing that most people fail to realize is that the jury didnt find her innocent per say, they just failed to find her guilty of 1st degree murder. Big difference, and you have the prosecution to blame for that.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

No one said Casey Anthony is innocent. The state did not have enough evidence to prove their case. No real motive, no time/place/means of death. Not their fault, I'm sure they did the best they could with what they had. Fact is that they didn't have enough.

and the reasonable doubt is the issue there, to me. There is doubt of her guilt, and doubt of her innocence as well. She goes free.
The fact that the remains weren't found until they were very decomposed was a boon for the defense. No cause of death, how can you even be certain it WAS homicide? That was just what Baez needed and you can't blame him for mounting a vigorous defense.
In my heart, she did it - but better she walk if they could not prove it than convict her if there is any possibility that she did NOT murder the child. That pains me to say, because when I first heard the verdict I was seriously "WTF? NO WAY!" about this. But on further thought I have to respect their verdict.Ron is the MAN!!!!
