    Yes, well but in my situation mine was 20 dollars and i had an extra lying around. It was a sixer and i was gonna use it for balancing my 7 string. Take it to moms and sew it on the machine in about 1 minute, really not a problem.
    Would be totally invisible unlike a rock in a sock

    Another idea i had was to use straplocks, which adds a little bit of length to the upper strap button and moves out the balance point a little bit ( if it's on the tip of an upper horn ) with a longer screw and some small washers between the button and body - just a half inch more overall could possibly make a bit of difference. Again never did it. The guitar i had that dove was a BC Stealth - i played it for 4 to 5 hours standing up and i guess it didn't bother me enough.
