Oh no. My Mom loved Barry back in the day so my brother and I were forced to listen to her 8 track version of a mix tape on long car trips. At least my Dad's tape included the Good, the Bad and the Ugly soundtrack with a little Steppenwolf thrown in.
I like his commercial work that he actually did write. "I am stuck on Band-Aids, cuz band aids stick on me" and "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there." are catchy as hell.
Seriously. Try getting those jingles out of your head.
I shared an office with one other developer back in the 90's. The office had a stereo and speakers, so we traded off and listened to each other's music in the beginning. This dude turned out to be a huuuge Manilow fan. I had seniority, so I set an early precedent that there would be NO MORE Manilow played in that office. Instead, he was to get pummeled with a daily dose of Maiden, Megadeth, and Dio until he reformed his listening habits.
Democracy be DAMNED!
