  • So, I'm exchanging emails with Kahler...

and inquiring about replacements for the 2500 (I'm considering a model 3). They go on to tell me that they are bringing out a fixed bridge in a few months that will fit in that spot. Anyone know about this, or have any other replacement suggestions?

2700 Killer is a drop in replacement

    NOS here:
Whammy Parts sells current and vintage guitar parts.

but it is fairly expensive, I have one on a charvel model 2 which works well (im not Bob. M from the link either)

I've dealt with and talked too Bob, he's a very nice guy he knows his stuff when it comes to Kahlers.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

I love Killers! I have three of them (one not in use). I just need to stumble onto more Kahler 2500 loaded axes to swap them into.

Thanks guys. So, no routing required for the 2710? Any hardtail direct replacements?

Should be a top mount, no? Peavey Nitros had recessed Killers.

Id have to say, I prefer the Spyder as Ive had two and still have one. Parts are expensive though.

Yeah, I screwed up and didn't bid in time on a model 3 (with pick guard). The guy had the auction end at 5pm. I mean, come on, 5pm on a weekday in the same time zone as him? Oh well...
