I encountered this problem last year. I bought my BKGF WR1 from USA. USPS said it was too big and the seller sent it Fedex instead at his own cost. I got the guitar in just 5 days, no BS VAT. Lucky huh? I've just spotted an RR1 I like, but DHL charge $275 and USPS say its too big. Yet I've bought 4 guitars from two JCF members and USPS have accepted them every time, charging $100-$130. So is it dependant on which part of USA the guitar is sent from? Are there areas of USA where USPS employ umpa lumpas? Incidentally, are Fedex and DHL about the same in delivery timespan? USPS usually take 10-20 days.

Oh no, I appear to have not sent the e-mail. I suppose I might "accidentally" delete and forget about it, if we were to hook up for some of that freaky arsehole S&M action, like we used to have, you remember? Oh, those were good times, before you went all cold on me...So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
I nearly broke her back

It depends largely on the size of the case/box. I've had the USPS refuse to ship a KV/WR/RR SKB case in the box, but take it when it was mummified in shipping paper and tape.
No, they don't have umpa lumpas, but they do have Government non-military employees. As with all undereducated degenerates, they're lazy.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
