well, since you can't remember how that song goes, maybe you could write a tribute to it?

The times its happened have usually all been a scene associated with a place Id never been before, usually happens while driving, Ill see the scenery around me and remember, fuck, its identical almost to a T of a dream I had weeks or even months ago, but on occasion, its been just a fleeting piece of a moment of a situation that I KNOW Ive experienced before. Never anything important, just some random instant in MY day to day life. When these instances happen, I actually seem to know whats going to happen in the VERY near future, were talking fractions of a second up to a second or two, but I still see it play out just before the real life situation catches up with the image in my head. Its freeky and kind of neat, but completely useless, and to most, probably too far fetched to believe. When I say fractions of a second to a couple of seconds, im not talking how far ahead I see, Im talking duration of the vision, if you will, the image in my head never seems to be more than a fraction of a second ahead of reality, its like a slap back delay, reality is only slightly behind whats playing out in my head, but the situation could go on for a couple of seconds.
I've had those. Basically they're premonitions, just not the Nostradamus-sized ones. And yeah, it's only a snippet of something - someone drops something as they're walking and you see it happen, you pass through a specific doorway and see something specific to that one moment, or someone says something in particular in a particular way - and like you said, by the time you realize you've been here before, it's over and done.

Now, since the future has not already happened, yet you have knowledge of something specific that will happen, that goes back to the parallel universe theory in that the other you from a slightly different timeline has already experienced these particular events, and your dream is their memory recorded in their DNA.

I was told that the whole "deja vu" feeling was due to your brain temporarily shunting sensory input straight into long-term memory. That way, those few seconds "feel" like a remembered event. Either that, or it's The Matrix re-adjusting itself...
Have you ever dreamed that you were a kid, and woken up still feeling that innocence and freedom from responsibility just for a few glorious moments?

No. When I have the "when I was a kid" dream it usually goes way back and I wake up pissing the bed, without a diaper

Ok, so I woke up from another one of these "life-like" dreams. Can't remember all the details, but there was this one part where I was putting something together and had to screw one piece onto another, and I actually had to focus on it in the dream to get the threads of the screw to start correctly.

And there was a swimming pool at work (I work in a factory) for the employees to take a dip in to deal with the extreme heat we've been having (110+ heat index), and an emergency shower thing where we could wash the chlorine off (cuz that shit started to burn when we went back to work )

And I passed by a mirror and had Marty Friedman Hair
