So today I bought Tony Macalpine's new album (Self Titled) and he seems to be back in full swing. It has a great mix of neo-classical shred, classical and keys. It has great composition and isn't all over the place either. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants some good, new, instrumental music.

He's talented as hell but his vibrato used to lack soul. It was like he played the guitar like a keyboard. I will probably buy it though because as a keyboard player alone he is amazing.

Sweet, Thanks for the heads up. There is few guitarists i've listened to more in my lifetime. I dig his fusion stuff too, it's all good.
And yeah i dig it when he plays keys too.
